SUMMARY:Food Bank-Volunteer Opportunity (6th-12th Graders)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a meaningful volunteer experience at the San Antonio Food Bank\, where students in grades 6–12 can make a real difference in our community! Volunteers will help sort\, inspect\, and pack food donations that will be distributed to families in need across South Texas. This hands-on service opportunity is a great way to develop teamwork skills\, earn service hours\, and see the impact of helping others firsthand. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJob Description: \n\n\n\nGroups and individuals work together to sort and/or pack produce\, non-perishable foods\, and household items\, preparing them for distribution. Duties may include checking for expiration dates\, opened packages and spoilage\, labeling cans\, and packing bags of food or household items.
