Ave Maria Homeschool Academy

Who We Are and How We Serve

Ave Maria Homeschool Academy is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit with a mission to serve typical and neurodiverse students by providing educational, extracurricular, spiritual, community, and charitable support for homeschooling families in San Antonio, Texas. We offer a unique hybrid homeschooling program beginning from preschool all the way to high school with four days of classes each week in a Christian setting. Our students benefit from academic and extracurricular classes that are taught by experienced teachers, tutors and instructors. We currently serve nearly 100 students, and the feedback we have received has been very positive. To find out more about us, please visit our website.

Why We Are Asking for Your Support

Your financial contribution supports our current staff and will help employ additional special education teachers. We employ talented teachers, tutors, and instructors in the areas of Special Education, English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Dance, Theatre, Bible Study and more.

• We provide tuition assistance to some families who otherwise would not have been able to homeschool their children in our program. Your support will help us continue to serve these families and to offer assistance to more families.

• We need additional classroom space to expand our program and accommodate more students. Your support will help us with the rental cost of a new location.

The interest in homeschooling is growing rapidly especially in recent years, and we are committed to providing parents who are looking to direct the education of their children, a Christian homeschooling program free from the negative influence of secular society.
